A surf camp isn't a lesson with a bed attached

A week at your camp is a package: a bed, a place in the water, meals, maybe an airport transfer and a board for the week. Each of those has its own limit, and guests book months ahead from three or four countries. Most booking tools were built for hourly lessons or single hotel rooms, so operators end up holding it together with a spreadsheet, a form and a bank statement.

Rooms and places fill at different rates

Eight beds in shared rooms, two doubles, twelve places in the water. Roamer counts each one separately and stops offering it when it's full.

Guests book from abroad, months ahead

Take a card deposit at booking and let the balance reminder go out on its own, instead of chasing a transfer from another country.

Level matters before they land

Ask about experience, board preference and wetsuit size in your questionnaire, emailed after booking, so groups and kit are planned before arrival day.

What Roamer takes off your plate

If this is your week

  • A week that still shows as available when the last twin room went yesterday.
  • Deposits arriving by bank transfer with no reference, and balances chased over WhatsApp.
  • Waivers, dietary needs and wetsuit sizes still missing two days before arrival.
  • The same confirmation and payment emails written by hand for every guest.

Live availability by week

Set the places and rooms for each departure. The widget on your own site shows what's left, and a full week closes itself.

Deposits and balances

Guests pay a deposit by card through Stripe when they book. Balance reminders go out automatically ahead of the due date.

Rooms and extras

Shared room, private double, board and wetsuit hire, airport transfers. Each has its own price and limit, and guests choose them when they book.

Waivers and questionnaires

Your waiver and questionnaire, covering surf level, dietary needs and medical notes, are emailed after booking. Anyone who hasn't finished gets a reminder before departure.

Guest emails and documents

Confirmations, invoices and payment reminders go to every guest on schedule, with your branding, so nobody retypes a name or a date.

Cash flow you can see

What's been paid and what's still due for every trip and departure, so you know how the season looks before it's over.

What a booking looks like

  1. 1

They pick a week on your site

Live availability sits on your own website, so guests only see weeks that still have space.

  2. 2

They choose a room and extras

Room type, board hire and transfers are added when they book, each checked against what's left.

  3. 3

    They pay a deposit

A card deposit secures their place and the booking confirmation goes out straight away.

  4. 4

    Their details follow

The waiver and questionnaire arrive by email after booking, and the answers land on your departure list. The balance reminder is already scheduled.

Costs nothing in the weeks you're not running

Roamer takes 3% of the bookings that come through it. No monthly fee, no setup cost and no contract. Card processing by Stripe is separate.

Questions operators ask

Can it handle different room types as well as places on the camp?
Yes. Places on the week, each room type and each extra have their own capacity. A guest can only book a combination that is still available.
Does it work for surf schools as well as surf camps?
Yes, if your school runs multi-day courses or surf weeks. Each course date has its own places, board and wetsuit hire are extras with their own stock, and guests pay a deposit and fill in their waiver and surf level as part of the booking. Roamer is built around trips that run over more than one day, so it isn't designed for selling single hourly lessons.
How much does Roamer cost?
3% of the bookings you take through it. There's no monthly fee, no setup cost and no contract, so a month with no bookings costs nothing. Stripe's card processing fee is separate.
Can I keep my existing website?
Yes. You add the Roamer availability widget to the site you already have and guests book from there. No rebuild needed.
How long does it take to set up?
You add your dates, prices, rooms and extras, and we go through it with you on a call so your first departure is set up properly.
What happens when a guest cancels?
Your cancellation policy applies, and you choose whether to refund the guest, move them to another departure or issue a voucher. If you refund them, Roamer refunds its commission on the amount you give back, so you only pay on money you keep.
